Our family’s favourite during a week’s holiday in Marazion. We went twice and the children insisted we had to write an excellent review. The service was incredibly friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. Nice selection of beers, great outdoor seating if the weather is nice and good options for vegetarians.

absolutely disappointed. forgot our order and had to wait for a long time when all our friends had finished their meal and left. I do understand it isn’t an intentional mistake from the staff but I wish it could’ve been dealt with better… ruined the rest of our otherwise nice day out and plans with added expense with parking and huge delays to schedule. Food was alright, chips looked miserable tho

Lovely traditional pub v. conveniently placed near the beach and access to St. Michael's Mount. 6 of us enjoyed a late lunch. There's a wide choice of meals at reasonable prices. We were all served at the same time. The mussels were particularly appreciated.

I am veggie and was impressed by the pub having a number of veggie-friendly choices which weren’t just the usual burger, pasta or pie. I had an excellent miso aubergine salad which was both imaginative and tasty. Best veggie pub meal so far in Cornwall.
And my non-veggie partner loved the fish and chips with curry sauce!
Vegetarian options: Imaginative veggie options, not just the burger or pasta.

We had a walk through marazion and stopped in the kings head, my wife and I had a Sunday lunch which was very nice and my granddaughter had pasta from the children's menu which she enjoyed. All the staff were very friendly, there is a nice cozy atmosphere inside and also dogs are welcome, and of course there was beer, a nice pint or 2 of proper job went down nicely. When we're back this way again we'll be sure to stop by.

Cosy, friendly pub with great food.
On a cold February evening we stopped for a drink and ended up eating too.
The warming fire was very welcome, especially by our dog 🐕 and the food was excellent, the Cornish mussels were particularly good 😋
They also had a £5 half term deal on their kids menu 👍
Good prices for top quality food - highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely little pub that serves delicious food. I had the burger followed by sticky toffee pudding. My 5 year old had the breaded scampi which he enjoyed very much. Very prompt service. Would recommend you book in advance.
Kid-friendliness: No specific kids menu but did do child portions of the adult mains.

Staff were lovely. Make sure you book in for food because it does get busy! We went on Sunday as well and they had a different menu from what we saw other visitors posted.
2 vegans and 1 non-vegan. We ordered the vegan Sunday lunch and a fish and chips. Both just alright. Some effort was put into the food but when I tasted the gravy (thinking it might be Bisto) I was a little underwhelmed. Apparently the chips were just alright too.
Would we return? Yes definitely as it was homey, warming and comfortable from a windy day out at St Michael's Mount.
